    Default Newbie Checking In

Well a month ago I was in Atlantic City and stopped at a Art of Shaving Store and looked around. Before that little trip I was an electric shaver (ha the horror). I bought their large complete starter kit, then went to target and bought a fusion. Shaving went pretty well, no real complaints. But then my Amzon gift card came in the mail. So I decided to buy a Merkur Progress. First shave was a terrible blood bath, one of those that made me say, this was not a good idea. But I kept with it and the shaves improved. Saw a cheap Fatboy on ebay and bought that and bought some Derby blades. Then I shaved with the Fatboy and Derby combo. Shaving nirvana insued, it was tremendouse, loved it, now I can not wait to shave every night. Most recently went on a trip to Canada and bought 7 tubes of Nivea for men extra mosturizing shave cream in a tube for 4 dollars canadian a price. Lovely stuff, dirt cheap, and unavailable in the USA, or at least I never see it. Love it!

Love this site, gives great information!

Here is my current favorite line up

    AOS badger brush
    1960 Fatboy
    Derby Blade
AOS sandlewood or Nivea for Men xtra moisturizing shave cream
niviea for men balm for sensitive skin aftershave

So now my shave den is packed and I am obsessed!

    Thanks Badger and BLade.

Welcome aboard. You've got a good start and it will only get better.

With that Avatar you must be a Philly guy or close to it.
