Did anyone else see the Astros/Padres game having to be delayed for an hour because of bees?

I have followed baseball for a long time and I can safely say that I would NEVER play in a swarm of bees!

Bees?

I bet there was a lot of buzz about that in MLB offices. If people left the ballpark it must have really stung the concessions sales, too.

I heard about that while I was watching the Phillies-Braves game. I'm glad that's never happened to me at a game.

Bees? No kidding! I wouldn't much want to play baseball, let alone see a game if they're swarming.

Weirdest thing I have ever seen a game delayed for was a squirrel on the field a year ago when I was attending a Tigers game at Comerica Park. They delayed for a few minutes to chase him out of the outfield.

Some bees need to sting John Smoltz and make something happen for him. Sheesh.....
