    On one hand wow - on the other hand what do we learn from this. is the astra less sharp then the feather looks smoother ?

    I have looked at a few blades in an electron microscope. In these images, the blade has been cross sectioned so that the edge profile is easily visualized. All are at 10,000x magnification (relative to a polaroid).
