Adding EOs to Witch Hazel

I just purchased a bottle of Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel, and I have heard that Adding essential oils to witch hazel like Eucalyptus, or peppermint, can give it an extra kick. I just found out we have bottle of each at my house so I was wondering who has done this, how effective it is, what is the proper ratio (how many drops per ounce), and do I just use one or both EO's?

I like to add eucalyptus to my W/H. I usually add about 10-15 drops to a full bottle. I haven't ever been to scientific about it, I just add until it smells right. Get yourself some travel size bottles, split it up, and experiment.

It doesn't take much.

I use travel spritz bottles, one eucalyptus, the other lavender, added to Thayer's Original WH Toner (non-alcohol).

A couple drops is all it takes. More than that, I found in my early experiments, the EO clouds the WH. Usable, but looks nasty.

Done right, it's sublime
