    Default nubie brush question

Hi - first post and I have a question. When I was younger I used a brush and mug but had not done so for years. My son took me into an Art of Shaving store and I got the bug to try again. Anyway, I purchased their small sampler kit with a small brush and a bit of their product. Enjoyed it and stated to look for a better brush. The only thing I could find was a Men-U brush. It worked but I was not thrilled. Then I was on a trip to the UK and found a small shop in the North Lanes of Brighton that had some nice looking brushes in the window for sale. I had/have no idea about the quality of the brushes or that there were so many possibilities out there with brushes. So I purchased one that looked nice and felt good. I have been using it for several weeks now and find I like it and would like to have some idea of the quality of the brush. I have tried to find it on the web but no joy.

It's marked: Pure Badger Made in England - on the reverse - The "Strand" Brush Made in England.

    Any help would be appreciatted.

Is this your brush? In my wanderings and rummagings I thought I'd run across some named Vulfix brushes. Hope this is helpful to you.

It looks like renoles has found your brush for you.

The truth is, if you like it, and it works for you, then it's a great brush! There is no right and wrong for this stuff. Just use whatever makes you happy and gives you the results you want.

Hi Renoles thanks, that's the one! So I have a Vulfix, so far with my limited experience I have been quite pleased. I am afraid I will have to fight the SBAD I have read about :-) I have already started to make that plunge, and have order a turn back travel brush as I am away from home quite a bit.

FreezerBurns - I did not go to the UK to buy a brush :-) But was there and as luck would have it spotted a small shop that had some brushes in the window. Rather odd little place, it was primary a shop that sold tobacco, pipes, and cigars and they had a few brushes for sale and some shaving cream. Now I wish I had been reading this list prior to my trip!

I will be going to Germany later this year and will have to keep my eyes open. So if there are any suggestions........
