Please allow me to introduce myself:

What is your real name? Neil
What are your nicknames/aliases? None, really. I guess it's hard to make "Neil" any shorter than it is already.
Where do you live? Beautiful Valley Stream, NY, in the south west corner of Nassau County (not too far from JFK Int'l Airport)
What is your age (or) generation? I'll be 50 in November, 2009.
What are you in the real world? Trial lawyer, specializing in divorces.
What is your favorite shave setup? (Always subject to change, of course): Gillette Aristocrat loaded with a new Derby, my Il Ceppo badger brush, and L'Occitane CADE SS (I also love the tallow-based SS's from Tabac, MWF, DR Harris and AoS).
What are your hobbies and favorite activities? Music, first and foremost. I play guitar and sing in a geezer band called The Grateful Dads -- you can guess what kind of music we play.We all have real jobs, but we do 2 or 3 shows a year at a local bar (The Backstage in Woodmere) and get a pretty good turnout. I am also into hifi (all tube, mostly analog), which fits in nicely with the music thing. I listen to just about everything from Mozart to Zappa to Coltrane. You wouldn't know it to look at me (6'1", 235 lbs), but I am an avid tennis player, and I won my league in 2007 and 2008.
What else should the members of B&B know about you? I graduated from Lehigh University in 1981, and Fordham Law School in 1984. I am happily married for 24 years, with two sons, ages 20 and 17. My 20-year-old just finished his junior year at Binghamton University, and he is applying to law school (against advice of counsel, of course!). The younger one intends to pursue a career as a vet. We have a 70 lb. "Royal" Standard Poodle whose official registered name is "Lola, A Giant Poodle Dog" (SWMBO wouldn't allow her to be named Thrunobulax, which was my preference). My wife is very supportive of my recently acquired shaving addiction -- she was getting very tired of the full beard I sported for a dozen years or so until I shaved it off in October, 2008, which eventually led me here. (Now, I actually like going to the mall and visiting C&E, B&BW and L'Occitane with her!) I have a very stressful work life, and I really enjoy my down time cruising around here at B&B.
I LOVE this place!
Thanks for having me.
