Default Injector, thumbs up; Injector blades, thumbs down

Okay, so I can remember my mother shaving her legs with an Injector and so I wanted to try one for nostalgia's sake. Well, the angling is easy, I could play with the loading system all day long, the razor itself is decently balanced if light...but the Injector blades seem terrible to me. It has only been three days on this blade and I feel like it is sandpaper against my face. I have tried different angles, insofar as you can change your angle with this razor, to no avail. There is a lot of discussion on what DE blades are quality, but I don't think with Injectors there is any choice--you use the official Schick blades or nothing. I wanted to like this razor, but it's hard when my face feels beat up. Yes it gives a good shave, but it isn't very pleasant.

which injector type and which injector blades are you using now? Some are more aggressive than others,
you can use guide to see which type you have,

for the blades, there are not many options, but there are a few.
I have had good luck with the current Chinese produced shick blades, in the orangeish package, and the ted pella blades.

I have a J1 and a J2 and the Schick brand blades. I will have to look for the other brands.
