Futur - Satin vs Chrome?

Hey there,

Is there any real difference in handle grip between these two razors? I tried a forums search, but maybe my searching kung fu is not strong

I'd like the chrome, but not if it's slippery compared to the satin

They have the same grip to me or non noticeable i think...Chrome is timeless, satin is a recent trend.Matter of taste.

I really enjoy using my chrome futur, and I've never had a problem with a slippery grip. It's one of my favorites.


But now that I've posted this, It'll probably slip out of my hand tomorrow morning and crash through the bathroom floor.

Go for the chrome. It is much nicer looking than the satin. (I have the future in both chrome and the gold - I think the gold version is a work of art).

Oh my gosh, there's a gold version? I've not seen that.

+1 on that. The gold Futur is a beaut, and it shaves great. It is also not slippery either.

My Satin Futur still looks brand new after almost 1 1/2 years of constant use.

Chrome is king. I'd buy a second Vision if they would make it in chrome. I may just settle for a chrome Futur.

Chrome here. When it's clean, it looks clean (and matches the old school ("timeless") bathroom fixtures in my shave den).
