shave mac silvertip vs super?

Ok i have used silvertip in the past but not the super badger. Can you explain the differences? Is the silvertip really worth the premium over the super?

I will remain as an observer of this thread, I am also curious to learn the differences. I read the grades and guides on this forum but someone's exprience might trigger something in my head.

Are you asking about the differences between Shavemac Silvertip and Rooney Super?

Guess I should have said finest badger.

In that case, get the Finest.
Shavemac Silvertip is great, but D01 is much better, and Finest is much less expensive.

I enjoy the finest. It's firm enough to get good lather from soap and soft enough to feel great against the face. In the long run I doubt it matters much though.

Just for clarification. In the Rooney line, Finest is at the top of the chain and the more expensive hair.
