EJ Chatsworth Lined Razor

This just arrived today and all I can say is that it is a stunning razor to look at.

Here are some comparsion shots next to the 23c to see the difference between the Muehle head and the Merkur head. Where the Merkur is concave on the bottom, the Muehle is just one solid piece. See how it shaves tomorrow.

Congratulations Bob! As a fellow EJ Razor user I know the special feeling you have right now. I am still testing my latest EJ Georgian with the Muhle head so I don't have a definite preference yet. My old EJ Bulbous Lined gives me an irritation free BBS and will always be my favorite handle. Please report on the weight difference vs. the 23c and it's effect on your shaves.

I'm pretty sure that you will really like the way it handles and shaves.
I got the Chatsworth "Barley" about five months ago and I really like it.
That Muhle head is really a fine piece of work. I holds the blade very consistantly and seems to have the perfect balance between closeness and comfort.

I have a EJ Georgian with a Merkur head as well as a Trumper Warwick and it too has a Merkur head.

Looking forward to using this one tomorrow.
