    Default Shaving Products in NYC

This is a follow-up on another post with a different question....

I have a daughter and SIL living in Brooklin and we are only about 2 1/2 hours away, so we get up there fairly frequently.

Are there any places, other than The Art of Shaving, where they would have quality badger brushes for sale?

I am thinking Rooney, Kent, and Plisson, etc.

Any place with a broad range of soaps?

    Thanks!

Cambridge Chemists is pricey, but has a huge selection. For soaps and creams, Pasteur's Pharmacy (two locations) has a tremendous selection with internet pricing.

    +1
Both shops are within walking distance of each other on Lexington Avenue. I was actually in both of them today. Pasteur's is a tight squeeze but they have their brushes and blades up front at the checkout counter.
Cambridge Chemists is the friendlier and more well informed in my experience. Today I scored big there with 5 packs of Swedish Gillettes. I would have bought more, but that was all that they had.
BTW there is also an Art of Shaving shop near the corner of Lexington and 62nd Street.

I would rather be with the people of this forum than with the finest people in the world.

I cannot believe I did not go to the map that you posted, because I had already checked it out for locations around where I live.

The second post was very interesting. Thanks!
