Default In love less than a week in

I read about wet shaving last week, ordered my first safety razor (Merkur),badger brush, and shave soap that same day, and I have to admit, it's amazing. I've only been doing it for about 5 days now and I'm getting a closer shave without tearing up my face, and the whole ritual of it is fantastic. There's also something satisfying about shaving with skill, rather than laziness.

Thank you Badger & Blade for introducing me to the sheer awesomeness that is wet shaving.

Congrats. The ritual is very different from shaving with a cartridge razor. It is addicting. You'll like it more and more because your technique will improve.

Welcome to the wonder of wet shaving!

For me, it gets the day started on the right foot. Very therapeutic.

Glad you're enjoying it so far. It only gets better! I agree with the "something about shaving with skill." I realized that the most enjoyable part for me is the technique of it.

Wait until the "AD's" set in. I, for one, never, ever looked forward to buying an extra can of Edge, but this stuff; I just can't get enough.

Enjoy the shaves, and have fun with it!

+1....and keep in mind, AD's aren't bad, they're just a way of field testing products so you can customize your shaving experience.

Turboanima, get out now while you still can! You think stopping smoking is bad? Wait till you look at your bathroom cabinet and think, "Hmm, there must be some way I can get another tub of TOBS in there". Then you'll know I warned you.
