Default What's this Deckelman Bros. worth?

This razor was really rusty when I found it. I've hand-sanded it to its present condition. I can't find any info about this and would appreciate knowing more about it as well as what it might be worth; recognizing it still needs some work to remove the pitting as well as honing, etc. Thanks.

unfortunately mate, not heaps. But keep in mind im by no means an expert.

Its not a super renowned maker, which is a pity because people pay top dollar for badge. Thats some serious pitting right there too - but at least its away from the edge, which looks alright. scales seem to be in pretty good nick, though.

Shave ready but otherwise as-is, I can see this selling for like 30-40usd. If you can remove some more pitting I guess you can add another 20.

Its a pity that unknown makers get no love (if it were a big name, even with that pitting it would be worth double), its probably going to make an excellent shaver though.

I'm a little reluctant to agree with the $30-$40 estimate. The handle material counts and I can't tell from the pix what it is, but the razor itself is a poor condition no-name and I think you would be better off putting the best possible edge on it and keeping it. Even shave ready, I don't see it being worth more than $25.

Thanks for the guidance you guys. I'm going to try and rub it out some more and see if I can't get rid of most of that pitting.
