I am looking for a hair product with high shine similar to Bryclreem or Groom and Clean with good hold and limited greasiness. Any suggestions?

One of the high-end hair gels like American Crew might be good if you prefer stiff hair over the somewhat greasy/waxy feel of traditional pomades.

Do you really think the Murray's really give a shine like Bryclreem or Groom and Clean? I do not get any great shine I do not think from Murray's, not that I am not really loving it as a hair dressing. I bet Royal Crown would add some shine, but "not greasy" does not fit my recollection of that stuff. (The thread referenced was started by a question I had. There is discussion further on in it about hair products that sound like they might do the trick. Actually a combination of Groom and Clean and vitalis might be an answer.)
On the other hand, over in the African American hair products section of the local drug stores there seems to be a lot of products devoted to giving hair "sheen." I am so impressed with Murray's I may embark on a big explore of African American hair products. I was thinking more the pomades, but why not the sheen producst as well? Feel like someone's been holding out on me my entire life with this stuff, or at least Murray's!
Aveda makes a Grooming Cream. It smells A LOT better than brylcreem and it's not greasy.

I tend to use all these products sparingly so my experience has been that Aveda gives the same sheen to my hair as the brylcreem.
The Aveda product is 4x the cost of Brylcreem and, as usual, YMMV.
