Default William's Mug Soap as a Bath Bar?

Does anybody use William's Mug Shaving soap in place of their regular bath bar?

I really haven't been able to find a decent, cheap bath bar that I have been really satisfied with (and I have tried quite a few), and I figured I might give williams a shot. I am a big fan of the scent, its very easy for me to get locally, and for a buck I don't see how one could go wrong. Just curious if anyone had any opinions...

I do. I got the idea from Dr. Moss at SMF. He buys Williams but the CASE!

I use it from time to time, mainly after I've had a puck I shaved with for a few months (meaning it got used 5-6 times). I'll toss the old one in the shower and break out a new one for shaving.

I recently used my last half-used puck of Williams for a shower soap and was very happy with it! Presently, I'm using the crappy (and expensive!) Caswell-Massey almond shaving soap in the shower. When that runs out, I'll probably pick up another puck of Williams.

Any shaving soap you don't like (and maybe some you like ) can and should be relegated to the shower.... it is soap! Sometimes it is a bit gentler that what you may be currently using, but it will work wonderfully in the bath or shower!!

Okay, I gave the Williams a go in the shower today, and I think I found myself a new bath soap . It is exactly what I was looking for; smells great, inexpensive, readily available, and, on my skin at least, pretty moisturizing. Thanks again for the advice guys!

Interesting. I never thought of this. I guess I know what I'm using in the shower tomorow. My old puck of Williams I've completely stopped using.

Isn't Williams Shave soap kind of small for the bath or shower ? ...I don't use it myself but the box looks kind of small at the store.

I havent used it in the shower, but the only thing different is that its round. I dont think it would be too small.

I find that it works well in the shower but I also find that it works as a shaving soap.
