    It's one thing that all of your replies seem to be titled "re: post", but why are you naming your threads that? Nobody will read them because they won't know what they're about.

    Please give them a proper title.

    well i dono - if i read the title, i probably wouldn't have looked at the post.... maybe polish the heck out of it with some Maas?

    You can pick them up in excellent shape for under $10. Why replate one?

    If it's brass already, you don't have to replate. Just polish them. However, if it is brassing, the plate having been worn away, then polishing won't help and you will have to replate.
