Hi, I missed out on this as intriguing ‘Grand tour’ as I've dipped in and out of B&B but not signed up for it until the other week.
Got to say this sounds like truly genius and philanthropic idea! I have no notion as to where your blade is due to go but have you considered giving it a trip across the ‘pond’ to UK? I may well be out of time on the ‘grand tour reservation’ but have a think and let me know.

Thanks again, Bill. I can hardly wait to see how "Elise Estrada" shaves

    Default Is this still going?

Is the list of lucky ones still being populated? It sounds too much tempting to leave it to go.

    Default Great idea!

This is a great idea, Bill, and it's very gracious of you. I'm not a straight razor user as of yet. I hope to get there eventually. I'm still fine-tuning my DE experience. I'm new to B&B and look forward to following this thread.

Oh look what we have here!

The traveling razor tour hits the front page!

Well I guess there will be a surge in the number of posters in the straight section now

Still being populated? You are spending way too much time on a computer, my friend... However, the answer lies two posts previous to yours with all the links you will need for answers.

To briefly give closure to your inquiry, let's say that it is still open to Libertarians, conservatives, red necks, and those who like Bud Light Lime...

    Default Holy Crap!!!

    I'm scared....

I mailed the travel razor the same day as another box of razors. I mailed the travel razor to Los Angeles, which is only 4 hours away, and the other to Georgia, which is 2,000 miles away.

The Georgia box was delivered in two days. The one to Los Angeles is still wandering around in the postal facility somewhere after 4 days.

A box of razors? I'd be scared too after 4 days.

I know it's kind of last minute.... but is there any chance I can be removed from the list?

The tracking number says it was processed at the downtown LA facility last night at 11:30pm, and again at 1:30am today - I am assuming this is the arrival and departure of the package from that processing facility.

I'm heading to my PO to check for it right now

It's my understanding that insured, signature required deliveries are actually handed off and signed off on by each member of the PO chain of delivery so it takes a bit longer.

Wouldn't that be hilarious if the razor didn't even make it to the first stop of it's journey?

    The answer is no.

Expect an update within the hour!

    Nothin yet

I asked one of the postmasters and they said it can take a day to process it at each facility... Regardless, I'll check again before end of day.

Default Like a dream come true

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls... I am pleased to announce that I have just experienced, hands-down, the best shave of my life.

This beauty has a softer touch than an angels kiss, I was mistaken to call her a bad boy before... this Lady is truly a sight to behold, to be held and... be held by

I cannot wait to hear the reactions from the rest of you when she sings her sweet song whilst dancing across your cheek and over your chin.

The kind of song that seems to make your hair jump right off your face onto the razor, she is that gorgeous.

Bill, you are truly a master of your craft. I thank you, my BBS face thanks you, and my unborn children and their unborn children's faces thank you.

Thank you for sharing with all of us this wondrous work of art

The rest of you are in for a real treat when the golden ticket arrives at your mailbox.

ps. Heya Bill, seeing as how it's my birthday this Saturday and all, I'm sure you and the rest of the fella's wouldn't mind if I just... kinda... hold on to her.. for a while... like.. forever... would ya?

pps. We should name her, after her first battle. I was thinkin' maybe Whiskerfel or Whiskerbane... yeah, nice and feminine! Either that or perhaps Serendipity as I feel quite serendipitous at the moment. What do you think Bill?

Hey guys, just a tip, but you can actually save some postage and a lot of time if your PO lines are long if you print the shipping label from your computer. www.usps.com. Sign up now so your ready to print when the razor arrives. :D
