Switching Handles on Merkur razors Long Handle Slant?

Hi,

Anyone with a Slant and a Long handle merkur know if I could switch the long handle onto the slant in order to have a long handled slant? Thanks.

No. They go together differently, unfortunately. The Slant is a two piece. The handle and guard plate are one piece, with a knob at the bottom to screw it to the head. Which as a very long threaded rod, that goes way down into the handle to mate with the knob.

The LHC is a three piece. Which means short threaded rod on the head, that goes through the guard plate, and screws into threads at the tip of the handle.
