    Default Lightly scented shower gels

I have always been a soap guy. It is quicker and easier. Also I have am prone to breaking out so using dove sensitive for my body and face has worked really well. I feel it might be a bit cheaper too especially if you are not using a puff or washcloth with the shower gel.

With the recent increase in popularity and emergence of several men shower gels I am becoming interested.

My problem is they all seem to be strongly scented. i have tried the Nivea which has a light scent but the scent is not a good one imho.

Any body washes with good scents that don't last long so it won't clash with my aftershave or fragrance/cologne (Gillette, Old Spice, Dial, Axe, etc)?

For me it is the opposite. I mainly used gels and now I'm back to soaps.
We just received our big order on Porto Claus Soaps and I'm also a big fan of the Meat and Potato bar from Woody's.
But I use such fluffy thing. It lathers like crazy then and I like the scraping effect ont my skin to take the dead cells away.

Pear's shower gel cleans as well as their soap, IMO. The scent's a bit of an odd orange-y handwash type affair (which is a shame as the soap bar smells great to me), but it's very mild and doesn't stick around. It's the only drugstore (for lack of a better term) I bother with as I never feel properly clean after using most gels. Very skin-friendly.
    All the best,
    Jim.

Sorry if this doesn't answer your question, but I have moved from gel to soap in the shower. I use a shower puff (those meshy plastic balls) and it only takes a few moments to rub the soap in to the puff. I get a great lather and it is saving me a decent amount of money.

I still have some gel left though, so have sometimes been adding a blob of scented gel to my soapy splodge to make a kind of hybrid superlather for the shower.

Anyway, to actually answer your question, in my experience Sanex is worth a go. I'm pretty sure it is lightly scented and it has all the dermalogical credentials.

Can you buy Sanex in the USA?
