Default Who's it going to be?

After this weekend of college football who do you think will play in the BCS national championship game? Obviously the winner f next weeks Ohio State - Michigan Game, but who's going to be number 2. I personally would not be surprised to see the loser of that game be the number two team, unless they get blown out.

Jim, if it's close, you might be right. I would've said Florida, but they played SC pretty close today (sorry Gatorade, although I think it can still happen if they win out and stomp Arkansas in the SEC title game.) And while I know it won't happen, if Rutgers kept on winning I would love to at least see them in a BCS bowl game, if not playing for the Nat'l Championship. But yeah, after today, no one really stands out. Even Notre Dame could sneak in now if they beat USC.

All we can do is win. If we win out that would mean finishing the season with a win over Arkansas. That would solidify things. We were pretty wounded on defense. We dismissed our starting DT and our middle linebacker had knee surgery this week and still played. One of the defensive ends injured his shoulder early in the game so we were not stopping like we have in other games. Also don't discount the return of Spurrier. I think today was one of those games where all you have to do is win. Even by 1 point, you just need to win. The nest three teams above us lost so that emphasizes how much a win helps.

    Also of note:
FSU shut out 31-0 at Tallahassee. Bobby during post game said Virgina really handed it to them. (They played Wake Forrest) Keep Bobby arround as long as you want FSU. Let him coach out that lifetime contract!

I think Rutgers will ultimately lose to West Virginia. That is going to leave a lot of very good one loss teams out there. Notre Dame could sneak back in, but is that right since they got it handed to them pretty good by Michigan?? Maybe it will be Florida? Especially since how much you win by is no longer factored into the computers to generate standings?

My humble opinion...scrap the BCS and install a play-off format! There I said it LOL.

Joe, all I heard was the final. Didn't get to watch any of the game. Here in Utah, we watched the UoU kick ass and the the Jazz game.
