Default Date code on a single ring old type??

Can I get some help with the date of this single ring old type I just picked up? The bottom piece has the following number stamped on the internal stem 865507. I know there is a guide to double and single ring number stamps, but I can't find it on the wiki. The barrel has Pat. No. Nov. 15.'04

    Thanks for your help!!

I'm guessing that'd be 1907? The wiki says 1907 is:

    1907 770425 - A195424

Well, it is a beauty from that angle, but the other side reveals its flaws as you can see. Still, I consider it a bargain from da Bay for under $10!!

That is still a great scoop. Keep it around and one day you will find a great handle with a totally f*&ked up blade guard missing teeth. Voila! Shaving paradise!

Uh, I think that one's a bit beyond that technique!

You could probably put a light "weld" on the handle to fill in the gap. If you know anyone with a welding machine show it them. I have a handle that has a weld in it, though not so extensive.

Thank you Achim! Not sure why I had such a problem locating this. The link is under the introduction section of the shave wiki, not under the Gillette headings.

    Much appreciated!

Yeah, but be careful what you ask for. I sent a razor for a weld repair - when it came back it seemed I hadn't explained what I wanted very well!!
