Where to buy barbicide locally?

I need to disinfect a brush that I recently sold on B&B to ship it out by Thursday. Where is a good local place to obtain barbicide? I can't find it on the websites of Walgreens or Target. If I can't find barbicide, what's a good alternative to use to sanitize the brush?

Wouldn't barbicide be too harsh for a brush? I would think the vinegar or borax solution, maybe even just shampoo, would be enough.

Barbicide may not be the first choice to disinfect a brush. There's a video on em's place about cleaning a brush. Another thought, you could let the buyer clean it to his liking.

First, I wouldn't use barbicide to clean a brush, you risk damaging it. I agree about watcing out the Em's Place video. There are also other sites that give instructions on cleaning a shaving brush, just google it.

Now to answer your question: Barbicide can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply.

Thanks for the heads up. You saved me from potentially destroying the brush! I'll grab some vinegar and/or borax after work and clean it using that.
