Bea Arthur dies at 86

RIP Golden Girl


LOS ANGELES - Beatrice Arthur, the tall, deep-voiced actress whose razor-sharp delivery of comedy lines made her a TV star in the hit shows "Maude" and "The Golden Girls" and who won a Tony Award for the musical "Mame," died Saturday. She was 86.

Wow, it's hard to believe she was that old... it doesn't seem like it was too long ago that she was going strong

I feel your pain Ray. She was a great comedienne and the source of much laughter.

(Hard to believe she was that old; she looked great.)

This came as a surprise. It is hard to believe she was that old. My how time fly's. She was a great comedienne. RIP Bea.

I am really sad to read this - I know it's silly, but I watched a lot of Golden Girls back in the day...

a great innings, a great comedianne...she made me laugh
