    Default Cheap blades

What's the best place to get a good price on blades? What's the lowest per-blade price that anyone's gotten (including shipping... no pretending like that's not part of the cost)?

eBay has the lowest prices. WCS also has good prices.

Value isn't measured by price alone.
A cheap blade that tears up ones face isn't much of a bargain.
One must also consider how many shaves per blade they get.
2 things I don't skimp on are razor blades and toilet paper.
My face and my ass deserve quality.

So am I to take it you shave your A** with Feathers?

OP, perhaps the best blade for the money (in my opinion) is the Red Pack Personna, or Red IP. WCS sells them 100 for $10, they can be had on the bay for about the same. shipping in either case is a couple of bucks, bringing the price to about $12. Probably the best quality, least expensive blade you can buy. Two or more shave per blade, easy.

Agreed. However, I find the Red IP's to be very good blades and at only $10 per hundred they are also a good deal. West Coast Shaving has them and shipping is free on orders over $75. So if you are buying some other stuff, you might as well have John toss in a pack of blades.

I spent about 14 years making the best toilet tissue on the planet, Charmin. Charmin Plus with lotion is my favorite.

    It's only toilet paper.

Yeah, that's what we used to say. Especially when someone was getting frantic.

Yeah, Dorcos -- even the 301s -- are garbage. Avoid them, especially when you can get Red "IPs" (Israeli Red Pack) for the same price.

They aren't my favorite blade, but I do like the Red Pack Israelis, and for twelve cents a blade, even if you get two shaves a blade out of them, it's a spectacular deal for the quality.

    $14.99 for 195 Derby's shipped (e-bay, 1 shot deal, not a supplier).

Oldsaw, thanks for spelling out West Coast Shaving instead of just "WCS". Had no idea what people were talking about. I've only got three posts, people, you gotta spell things out! I don't know the secret codes yet!

+another1 on the Red IP's. Also, West Coast Shaving rocks out, even though I'm all the way over in Florida...

Get some Speick while you're at it (either the shave stick or the cream) and some Proraso Pre/Post, and you're set!

On a buy it now on the bay you can get Personna red packs for $7.50/100 +$4 shipping. $11.50 delivered is cheap. And it is a good blade, too.
    Can't buy a thrill... )^(
