Hey gang - I've been proper wet shaving for about 10 days now. Some days are hit and miss, but I'm enjoying the learning experience!
I stumbled upon a wet shaving thread in another forums site, and the first post was so intriguing, that I was sold.
About $200 later (yeah, I went a little crazy), I'm building a nice shaving set.
Started with a Merkur Progress, a silvertip badger brush from Fendrihan, Proaso cream, and an sampling blades from a sample pack from WestCoast.
Just wanted to post a "hi!", and look forward to learning more from the brilliant gents on this site.

LOL. You must not be married.
I've been wetshaving for about 3-4 weeks and have only DE shaved 9 times. My wife doesn't know I'm DE shaving. I shave with the Sensor when she's around. She thinks the brush/nice cream thing is weird enough. I think she would freak if she saw me shaving with my SS. I figure I'll get her used to the creams/brush and then work in the DE later.
She does admit I'm getting better shaves lately, though.

Welcome to the BLADE!!. You're one of us now. There's power in numbers. The think the divorce rate here on B&B if miniscule to nil and the marriage rate has probably gone up!!. You have to 'come out' sooner or later so just hit her with a BBS shave and the aroma of Nomad shaving cream lingering on your mug. She'll be hooked. Then get her a Lady Gillette. That's the usual coarse of things around here. Keep us posted.
