Need help with Schick Injector reassembly

I got a little overzealous cleaning a Schick Protector injector razor and pulled out the guard a little bit and the whole head assembly came apart. I can see how it goes together I just need to know if it's possible for me to reassemble it or if someone could give me a little advice?

I can see that the piece with the blade rest and stop goes on the inside and then then piece with the blade guard goes in next with the spring from the main handle piece going over the tab on the blade guard piece holding everything in place. I just can't figure out how to get the spring over the tab.

If this is in the wrong forum please place it in the right one. I'd really appreciate any assistance or answers anyone can give me.

There has to be someone who has taken these apart to try and clean them and then either been successful or unsuccessful in reassembling them, yes? Anybody?

I've never seen a Schick Protector injector. Do you have any pictures of what you are trying to do?

ditto...I hope someone out there has the answer. Had I paid attention and seen that it was assembled the way it is I would never have tugged on the guard to try to clean it more thoroughly. Expensive lesson?

I have no camera that would produce remotely good photos unfortunately. I need to get one for real. It is just an adjustable dial Schick Injector in build, exactly the same as any you may have except for a little slide switch that goes up to close the guard to the blade to save from blade wear or protect the little tikes around the house. It slides down to allow for the proper shaving gap for use. But for these purposes, it's all the same as a regular M-1. If you have one of those you can look under the head and see how it is assembled. But if you've not had one explode on you then it might be hard to visualize the pieces and how they fit.

The "protector" has the under-side push button that guards the blade-

Thank you Arik for posting that, you've got everything. So this is it, I won't bother you folks anymore, this is the last call for someone that can rescue my Schick Protector, that blew up during a good, honest cleaning attempt. It lost it's life, trying to give it's new owner the cleanest face it could - unless we can find a good robot doctor to patch her up like new.

Anyone? Buehler?

BTW...I am not DE Envious, who TF made up these stupid nicknames. Maybe my DEs are envious of each other but I stay out of that as well as the Injector vs DE wars, and the inter-brand wars.
