so, yes the killer combination will be mine!!! let's hope it does not live up to its name...but most will agree that a blade is only as deadly as you let it be...poor technique with any razor blade against your face will always lead to bad things...anyways...I'll let you guys know how it turns out when I get them...I also ordered 100 Red IPs from WCS...everything I know from BnB about those pretty much says that they are the poor mans feather...very sharp, and very affordable...either way...i'm excited to get a good amount of razor blades...it means I can give away my 8 merkur blades to a friend, he likes them okay...I hate them...

Good luck, right now I would be happy to use a Feather that was on its 2nd shave in the slant but not a new one. I am seriously considering corking or hand stropping a new Feather before first use in the slant. I just got my slant yesterday and tried a Irridium with no ill effects but even in the HD I find the first use with a Feather is not as good as the 2nd onwards.

Either that or I have one shave with it in the HD then move it to the slant but I generally don't transfer blades, they go in the razor and stay there till ready to be binned.

I would be interested to hear how you get on.

They are too effective on my HDs, SuperSpeeds and also my Feather Portable.

The only razor I can use them is in my Progress on a milder 2 setting. And then I am not getting some irritation under my jaw ATG.

So I always wonder since I have no slant and it is supposed to be an aggressive shaver, when I hear people recommending that Feathers go nice with slants.

actually, i told him that I hated them and he said he'd try them...then he asked for more...so it's his face.....i guess they worked for him...
