Laager Welcome!
Great first post!![]()
a reminder of why I wanted one of those....damn that's nice looking. My wife promised me I could have one....one day. I'll have to finish college first however and start making some money.
very nice!!

How does it shave? The one I owned was decent.... but really nothing special. I have a damascus from the Maestro on the way (hopefully will be here today) which I can't wait to compare experiences with. At least for me though... the TI Pierre Thiers Historic outshaved the Damascus. They sure our amazing to look at though!![]()

Nice looking razor!

Quite well. The extra stiffness of the blade suits me a bit better than my usual Wonderedge. Plus, the lack of a spike makes me a lot happier. Damn Wonderedge spike is bloodthirsty.Originally Posted by joel

My TI Damascus (honed by Lynn) arrived this morning.
I won't post photo's because it's exactly the same as Laager's razor shown above (well same model, not exactly the same obviously being handmade).
Although I had already shaved 2 passes this morning (7/8 Henckels) and got almost BBS, I lathered up again and did a 3rd pass. It was unbelievably smooth and it took off a small but visible amount of bristle. Lovely razor to handle, basically it's perfect.![]()
As Ferris Beuller would say, "if you have the means, I seriously recommend that you pick one of these up", or as Christmas is coming up ask someone to buy one for you.![]()
