Russian shaving soap?

I was putin some on my face this morning...
Hera shave powder is very unique , I have only tried "SPLENDID " shaving powder from Greece , still in production I believe, but you apply to face with hands, no "foam" ,no "lather" , just a layer of excellent olive oil based lubricants...I think America did have both types of powders , but prior to WW2...

Very affordable, would be fun to know how they perform.
Agree, I would order some to try if I wasn't flat broke from a) grad school, and b) my last foray into soap purchasing. XD
