    Default Latest Purchase from QED

Well, I just made a purchase from QED, and cannot wait for it to get here. I bought the Musgo Real cream and aftershave splash, as well as Proraso Pre/Post. Now the catch...........

As usual, I want to use everything new at once. However, I want to test out the Musgo cream to see how it performs without the aid of the pre/post. That being said, I think I'll have to wait to use the Pre/Post the following evening. Any suggestions or tips on how everyone uses it? Is it more effective to use before applying lather, or does it work better as a balm? I'm sure this is kind of a YMMV type question, but thought I might get some input.

I apologize if there's been a recent thread about this, I just didn't see one so thought I'd post!

I use the Proraso pre/post as follows.

First, I use it in place of the lather in Kyle's Prep . I use a fair amount of it to get good coverage and to be able to rub it in for a minute or two before I apply the hot towels.

Second, after I'm finished shaving and have done a final warm water rinse, I take a small amount, rub it in my hands and then apply to my face. Then I follow up with the cold water rinse.

I ran out recently and just bought 2 jars from Shaving Essentials . i don't intend to run out again. Proraso pre/post is one of my favorite products.

I like to use it after. I find it refreshes the skin and soothes any razor burn I may encounter and really helps clear up any irritation.

Well, since you have the Musgo A/S, you don't want the Proraso getting in the way as a 'post' ...

I use it as a "pre", letting it soak into my moistened face for a few minutes before washing it off and applying the lather.
Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.
