Thanks for the link. Very informative.
My oldest brush is a little over 1 year old, and it seems to work fine - any indicators that a brush needs be cleaned?
Although if my brush was getting worse very slowly it makes sense that I would slowly become used to it.
I suppose a little cleaning couldn't hurt.

I have a question. Where do you buy Borax and what is marketed for. I assume not for shave brushes. I have tried a few places with no success. The same thing goes for Barbacide.

Borax is perfect if you can find it. Otherwise, you can use white vinegar, water and shampoo. Dilute some vinegar in warm water and soak the brush in the solution for an hour or so. Rinse well. Add some shampoo to more warm water, work the brush in this solution. Soak for a while, rinse well.
