Default Preferred cream extraction method, The Poll!

The last post brought forth six(ish) different methods for removing cream from the container... so I figured the next step would be to create a poll to find out what's most popular...

So please... vote. And if you have a particular method to your madness, do share!

I voted for spoon because I use the handle of a small espresso spoon. Maybe I should have voted other.

One response and the poll is already falling apart...

What do you do when you espresso shots start tasting like Proraso?

I voted random tool, but only because what I use isn't listed and it's purpose built for cream.

That's what I'd like to find... I mean, a scoop is a scoop is a scoop, but something purpose built for that is good right?

I went to my local TCBY and bought my wife a surprise yoghurt. +1 brownie points. I also got the guy to give me several of the taster spoons. They are perfect for shaving cream.

Now that is what I've been looking for! There is a gelato here in town that not only makes awesome gelato but also has these funky little neon coloured spoons... perfect!

Well... that answers my question. Alright folks, shows over. Nothing to see here... Move along!

Usually it's just dip and twirl for me with a shaken brush. For some samples I'll scoop some out with my finger though. No need for extra stuff, no possibility of wasted cream (as could be the case with a spoon or something). I imagine that a plastic tongue depressor would work well if you don't feel like using your finger for some reason.

Dip and Swirl, I knew these two in high school...

J/K - I did vote dip and swirl as that's how I do it the majority of the time.

Crabtree and Evelyn has one on their website. It's called the Cream Key. It's a metered spoon for soaps that has a hollow shaft for measuring from tubes. It's a cool little dealiebobber.

I always though a cream key went on the other end of the tube then you wind it like a sardine can?

Dip and swirl if it is in the tub, squeeze if it is in the tube. Oh let's not forget the KMF pump either.

Same here. It all ends up on the brush in the end, might as well have it there in the beginning too.

i read the title to the this and nearly crapped myself.

anyway my "move" is to dip the tip and swirl. just dipping the brush into the tub. i usually go clockwise you can go counterclock wise...just never ever use the knuckle.

That is what it is for. Not too sure how it could be use to get cream out of a tub.
