Merkur. My experience so far in terms of how many days I can use a blade is:
Brand Days
Merkur 7
Gilette black 2
Gilette Swede 4
Wilkinson 3
Feather 4
Israeli 2
Kroger 0
My guess is tht since they are less sharp in the first place, they don't dull as fast.
I just got some Chinese Gillette "blue" blades, so i will be curious to see how they work
7 O'Clock greens in my Super Adjustable are the best I've found so far. 7 O'Clock yellows are a good second choice when I have no greens around.
Crystal, Red IP, and Feather in that order.
Derbys for me. Just sharp enough to give me a great shave.
The Swede. Because its perfect.
I use several different razors in my rotation, so I haven't voted. BICs seem to last the best in my experience. Feathers would be my go to blade since they are nice and sharp but I'm not impressed by their short life.

1. Feathers
2. Astras
3. Derby
You can't go wrong with any of those ,but I do prefer feathers , because they leave no irritation.
Wow I can see that Derby Extra, Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharp and Personna Red Pack Israeli are very popular. I'm going to order more Dery Extra and Red Personna online at either ww.westcoastshaving.com or ww.leesrazors.com. I will order Gillette 7 O'clock sharp in yellow package online too.
Do you think Personna are actually made Israeli?
Thank all of you guys to take a vote on your favorite blades!

Astra (although I like the Keramik version more), Russian Gillette and Swedish Gillette.
I like the vietnamese Gillette as well (seem to be the only one) and Lord Chrome.
Derby is overrated imho, not bad, but not a winner. Good travel blade to discard after one shave.
Feather is sharpest, but could do without.
I want to bump this thread, since I was going to create a separate poll of my own. Why bother, since it's here already?
Feather based on the options you had listed. I prefer Treet Platinum over Feathers because they cost less and give me a very comfortable, close shave in two passes, and generally never any cuts. I think I'm in the minority on liking that particular razor, but I guess that's why the saying goes... YMMV.

Merkur HD | Bluebird | Vulfix #405 | TOBS lavender soap | Clinique moisturizer
My favorite isn't listed... BlueBirds!
FYI, everybody -- the percentages are not accurate for some reason. Adding them up gives a total quite a bit above 100%.
I voted for the wilkies, although the ones I get are German, not UK.
Still, my favorite all around blade, and available locally for $1.01 per 5 pack!!

Peace.
If I had to choose one it is the AStra Superior Platinum (Russian) blade.
It is sharp, smooth and it works for at lest four shaves for me.
Plus I get them dirt cheap.![]()
Still I use a variety of blades to make DE shaving interesting.![]()

My blade of choice is Feather, but I occasionally use Gillette 7 O'clock blacks that I pick up at a local South Asian grocery store.
