Could have gone about 30 seconds or so less in the oven (1.5 minutes on each side at 500 after 60 seconds on each side in the cast iron on the stove)
On that note - Cooking a steak with cast iron is epic win
I also happen to have an epic chili recipe for the dutch oven that allows you to make cornbread......on top of the chili
like a DENice job! I love my cast iron, it's one of the few things in life that gets better the more you use it.
Now...why isn't it in the B&B Cookbook thread?
