I'm very impressed with it - I use a bit after shaving as a moisturizer and it works.

Tried a puck of Williams shaving soap and that just did not cut the mustard.

We all needed to start somewhere, yours is a fine place to start...Enjoy!!!

too true, i just baught my very first straight and have the same tube of body shop cream, i reckon its pretty good stuff.

Acquiring more stuff can be a fun little hobby, or even an addiction. It's more important to develop good technique & enjoy the shaves you are getting.

You have to work with what you have - or can reasonably acquire.
