I don't drink cocktails of any sort anymore. The only spirit I drink is Scotch, and I'm not interested in mixing that with anything more than a couple of ice cubes.
There are a couple of heinous libations that I recall from my younger days.
Texas Sweat
1/2 shot each of the four white liquors
1/2 shot of either Everclear or Bacardi 151 (I preferred Everclear 190)
1/2 shot of grenadine
Shake it over ice and strain it into a glass. And yes, it is a shooter.
In my college days, I'd start a night with three of these, and then sip on a long island iced tea while I waited on them to kick in. Later on, I began ordering a variation on the LIIT:
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Gin
1 oz Rum
1 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Blue Curacao
Pour first 5 ingredients into a tall glass over ice, add sweet/sour almost to top of glass, then add Blue Curacao. Shake well, garnish with lemon and a cherry.
Tastes about the same, but was much more fun to order.
