    Smile Hello everyone from Germany!

    Hi there!

    I'm the new kid in town. But not new to single blade shaving. Although there are some excellent forums in germany, i've been lurking around here on B&B every once in a while. Great place to get some new ideas.
    To be perfectly honest, the main reason i finally signed up, is to be able to bother "Mer" with PMs about his customized "Progress".
    But maybe I can contribute to some threads and topics.

    Still trying this and that when it comes to single blade shaving. Especially with creams and soaps I still haven't figured out my favorite combo.

    At the moment I use a Merkur 34C ( is it called the Heavy Duty in the U.S.?) and a Gillette Super Adjustable from 1972 ( same model year as myself )

    But I would love to get my hands on a "Mergress"

    Anyway, hello to everyone!

    Thanks for the welcome!

    I live in Nuremberg, Bavaria in the southern part of Germany
    But have been spending some time in Jacksonville, FL. Went to UNF there a couple of years ago for a term abroad.

    Welcome. I also think that is a nice setup. I'm particularly drawn to that brush...

    Guten Tag Maniac. Ein Bier Bitte.

    Yes, I only know the important phrases in German.

    Welcome! Good luck getting that Mergress.

    And thanks again for the warm welcome!

    @burnwood:

    "Hello to everyone from Germany" was obviously wrong. I meant "Hello from Germany to everyone". But thanks for the hint. Took me a while.

    @SavantStrike:

    It's a german Muehle Brush. My mom gave it to me on christmas. I have several others. More and less expensive ones.

    @DunEdinRanger:

    Seems like you have it all down. One beer coming up! Prost! (Cheers!)

    @Bokaba:

    Ich hoffe, dass Sie eine ausgezeichnete Zeit hier haben!

    So do I!

    But good job. You're doing great. I guess german is a pretty difficult language to learn.

    @rdeakle:

    Unfortunately not. I left Jacksonville ( to be more precise St. Augustine ) in 2000. Haven't been back ever since. Too much work and other stuff going on. Vacation is cancelled until further notice. I miss Florida. Every single day.

    Thanks again guys for the feedback.

    Haha! You sound like my girlfriend (who is from and lives in Frankfurt am Main). She says the same thing every day. You should definately try to make it back soon!
