Found some old razors, need an ID! [hi-res pics]

Hey guys, a friend of mine found these safety razors and asked me if I wanted them and I was really excited. They're really rusty and I don't know if they're salvageable but I'm excited to try.

That long one looks to be a ladies razor, someone correct me if i'm wrong.

The other one looks like a 40s style SS

The big one is a lady gillette, the other one is an early superspeed (1948-1950 if it doesn't have a date code)

Yep, a lady gillette and a 40s SS. They both have the same head design, the lady gillette just has a longer handle and was marketed to the fairer sex, hence the pretty blue handle.

the Lady Gillette is a great mild shaver....just like a SS....throw a Red Pack Personna in it........OH YA!!!!

Put some MAAS on them and alot of rubbing an you may be happy with the results.

Careful with too hard rubbing with Maas or you may take off more than tarnish. And the Lady G looks to be the white/champagne version which is far more rare than the blue or pink versions.

Looks like you have been helped already. Those are fine scores and should usually clean up just fine. Do try the lady Gillette, you would be surprised by the shaves you get even though it was made for the fairer sex. Keep us posted on how things turn out.
