    Default Feather Pre-Shave. First impressions.

On Dinder’s request, here are my first impressions. Just keep in mind this is not a review, as I used it only once.

    – First, it’s not oily at all. It’s actually quite liquid and it awfully looks like the CF pre-shave Joel reviewed some weeks ago.
    – It smells like glue, but if you don’t sniff the uncapped bottle, you won’t notice it. It won’t mix with the smell of your lather.
    – I purposely shaved before taking a shower to let my beard “unprepared”. The first pass was noticeably smoother, but my Feather AC consciously removed any of the pre-shave that could be left, so the second pass was business as usual.

So far, my opinion is this product allows you to bypass a long preparation, be it a shower or the use of hot towels. If you always take a shower before shaving, I feel this product will be of no use. One thing I have to try is to mix it with a shaving cream, as suggested on Classic Shaving site.

    More later.

Wow! that was fast. Thanks for posting this info, I have come very close to purchasing this product many times.
    Cheers, DJ.
