Aqua Velva Soap

Yes, it's true!

I bought a 12 pack of VDH glycerin soap, and melted a puck into a ziploc bowl, added a few splashes of AV, and now I have Aqua Velva soap!

Give it a try, if you like AV, you'll like the AV soap!

Sounds interesting - I'm a huge AV fan! I did read somewhere, most likely here at B&B, that menthol is great for an aftershave but is not so good for a brush. I'm not sure about the validity of this but you might want to surf around to see if it comes up.

Dave, I think I remember reading some old posts regarding menthol closing pores its associated effect on shave quality. Regardless of my feeble memory, if menthol was bad for the brush wouldn't Proraso cause problems!?!?!

To the OP, love the AV idea!
