    Thanks Patrick!
    Yes, it's a horsehair. It's one of the Vie-Long Bullgoose collection. I think Bullgoose still has most of the run in stock - they also have a white beehive w/dyed horsehair and I believe a beehive silvertip as well.
    I really like it. It is not as stiff as the semogue. And in my limited experience with horsehair they don't seem to hold water as well as boar, badger. But it definitely has a place in my rotation. It is nice and soft. It took a few good cleanings to get out the wet horse smell when it was new - my bathroom smelled like a petting zoo for a few days.

    ~~~I've yet to acquire one of Rudy's horse hair brushes but it's on my to do list. For now I'll settle for using the <$3 horse hair brush I got from Mirac in Turkey. Great little brush BTW. $3 shave brushes and the economically priced tubes of Derby shave cream build wonderful lathers...yet you guys knew that
    Wow. I'm in AWE. I love the way your straights are stored, and looks like you've got some great soaps! Where did you get those containers for the Cella and P.160?
    Thank you for your kind words. I bought my straight razor case from Knife Center. They have a lot to choose from. I bought the containers for Cella and P.160 from Accessories For Fragrances http://store01.prostores.com/servlet...le-Wall/Detail. I printed out the pictures, then used double side tape to attach them.
    Everything in the picture are from antique hunt's... My everyday stuff is just limited to a few item's that work well for me (for the most part).
    Default Heres mine!
    I have a small bathroom and am a bit anal about keeping it clutter free so my den is a drawer in my wardrobe.
    Each time I shave I go to the drawer and select whatever I fancy for that particular day. Also I can see exactly what I have which keeps my AD under control. Having said that I am waiting for a Shavemac brush and some Castle Forbes Sandalwood shaving cream, Geo. F. Trumpers Sandalwood Skin Food and Geo. F. Trumpers Violet shaving cream to arrive. I have convinced myself that if it fits into this drawer then I don't have too much.
    I don't have any "den" so to speak of and many of you guys are causing a bad outbreak of AD. Here's what I have managed to acquire in my 2 1/2 months of wet shaving.
    Left to right:
    CO Bigelow Cream
    Every Man Jack Cream
    Van Der Hagen Badger Brush (new as of today)
    1952 Gillette from my grandfather that needs to be cleaned for use. Has been sitting in a desk for several decades
    Every Man Jack Sandalwood Cream
    Every man Jack A/S Lotion Mint
    Williams Mug Soap
    Stetson A/S
    Aqua Velva A/S
    Styptic Pencil
    Van Der Hagen Bowl with Van Der Hagen Deluxe Soap
    Clubman Pinaud
    Old Spice Classic
    Merkur 178 Classic
    Colonel Conk 775 Stand
    Van Der Hagen Boar Brush
    Not pictured are my Wilkinson Sword Blades and my Merkur Super Blades
    The only reason there isn't more is that I just found this site a few days ago and didn't really know where to get more and what to get. I've got most of the basic stuf sold at the local box stores around me. Also SWMBO isn't a fan of me buying more than I need right now. Something about paying off some debt before buying more stuff.
    Here is my shaving den. The only things that actually stay out is the stand with the razor and brush. Everything else is put away beneath the sink in the cabinet. I live with my parents right now so I have to keep it way too nice and tidy. I can't really show anything off. I have only been wet shaving for a week. I received all of this over the course of about 3 days and jumped head first in. It is not much but it is a start. Anyway here is the porn... I mean pics
