1912 Autostrop

Hiya,
I just got my first autostrop in today, a 1912. Its a cased model that says "Modern brotherhood of America," and came with a blade already in it. Does anyone know what this Modern Brotherhood of America is? Also, is the blade removable, and would it be able to be sharpened? Lastly, where would one best look for a strop?

maybe some sort of freemason or elks type club?

the blade is removeable; it should slide out. do it carefully or youll cut yourself.

depending on which valet blade it is, it can be sharpened. im doing a video on that in the next couple days.

ebay usually has about 4 or 5 strops at any one time. some are used, sometimes theres a NOS one. as long as theyre smooth (even if theyre still rolled) they can be used.
