    Default A visit to Grandma's.....

This weekend, my wife and I drove to Louisiana to visit my grandmother. While there, I asked her if she had any of my grandfathers old razors. She went into the bedroom and after a few minutes came out with two superspeeds and a massive handled 3-piece that she said belonged to her father (first and second pic). I was very delighted to receive these razors from her.

On our way there, we stopped in every little town on the way and on our way back, took a different route. This is what we netted. The only razor I payed over $5 for was the packaged super adjustable and I only paid $7.50 for that. I should feel bad, but I don't. Two Fatboys for $5 each!

The Big Fellow was gifted to me. You fellas would not believe what I paid for the double ring. I did post that I paid over $5 for the super adjustable only.

Congratulations on your score. I went to an antique show this weekend and was only able to find a sorry, lonely, and bunged up thick-handled Gillette Tech.
