Just picked up this nice British Aluminium handled 1912 Peerless razor and an Ever Ready automatic stropper

Now I can sharpen my carbon blades on a Valet strop

Nice grab there, I saw a stropper like that a while back on the UK version of eBay. But I was holding out for a set that was there as well, then I forgot about it and missed it. It was a white case with the Streamline razor, matching stropper, and blade holders. Let us know how it works for you!

You can strop stainless steel blades just fine as well. It just takes a few more passes, but GEM stainless steel blades strop up just fine.
