    Default noxema

A long time ago Noxema made a pink goo shaving cream that came in a tub. I don't think it was intended to be used with a brush but in any case it was great for me. They stated that after shaving you could even rub some directly on to the skin as a moisturizer. It was inexpensive, not strongly scented and lasted well. Then they stopped making it. I have been searching for replacement since. I live in Canada - does anybody know if this product is still available in their area?

  2. Default I think my Dad used the same stuff for years....

it came in a blue tub and had a strong menthol smell to it. I think it's discontinued. I believe there's an Italian version that some online retailers still carry, but even that's discontinued (?) - and I'm not sure if that's the same formulation as the old blue tub stuff found in the US (possibly Canada)?

Noxema has not been available in Canada for quite some time. I am a big fan of Noxema shaving cream. In terms of performance, very few shaving creams can match Noxema IMO.

I like Noxema so much that I bought 3 "New/Old Stock" tubes from the late 70's-early 80's off of EBay last year. Paid dearly. To my surprise, these tubes seem to be in working order.

You may want to check for Noxema internationally. (I am not sure it is the same as you and I know it.) If not, I would be willing to trade a remaining tube - if the right soap were offered.

There are two discontinued Noxzema shaving creams that are still available in the stores in the Italy. They both come in 150-ml tubes. One tube is white with blue type and it's called Lather Shave Cream. It's for use with a brush. The other tube is white with red type and its called Brushless Shave Cream and its for use without a brush. If you're interested in trying it, PM me, because I can pick some up for you.
