Need help choosing one out of these three

From left to right -
1st - Art of Shaving - I own it - got it with their regular full size 100 $ kit. Don't be fooled by the size - I have used this for about 2 years now.

2nd - picked up today at the Crabtree and Evelyn. It says "Best" badger by Edwin Jagger - this was the largest size of the brush available.
It is pretty nice and since it was the last one left - the lady behind the counter gave it to me for 55 $ - No box.

3rd - NOW THIS IS THE MAC DADDY - (50 mm at the widest part). The art of shaving - Fine Badger - and it is size 6 - and is fat as hell. - This is a gift to me.


I don't know which one is for me.
I also have a couple of questions -
1. Is bigger always better with shave brushes?

2. While playing around with the brush over the whole day and just rubbing it around - I find that just about 25-30 hair just came loose (i.e. they were sticking out and I just pulled them out with no effort at all - the were loose). Is this normal for a gigantic brush like this?

3. Is best better than fine?

I will greatly appreciate any input.

1. no, some prefer big, some prefer small. its all personal preference
2. not really, but some do let loose a whole lot of hairs right when new that were just sitting in the knot loose. if it keeps sheading then theres a problem
3. generally no - but those names are so variable it really depends on the brand. theres a page in the wiki that shows the different ones for different brands

So the #2 - the price I paid is right - 35$ ? I can't seem to find this at the crabtree and evelyn site.
