Dovo "Prima Klang"

I've been looking through a catalog of Dovo straights and I'm thinking that the Prima Klang might be the razor to fill the last slot in my straights box.

Does anyone have any experience with this razor?

Its just a lovely looking razor. If its carbon, I'm sold. I don't really want or need another stainless.

I had one. They are lookers and the fit and finish on mine was excellent. They are extra hollow 'singing' razors, and while hollow ground razors and I get along just fine, I found the Prima Klang harsh. Might just be me, and one person's experience is not much of a reason to buy or not. It is carbon.

Yeah, I'm going to pull the trigger on one of these. I've decided.

Harsh can be corrected I think. I get that sometimes from my Dovo Mikarta (stainless), but after a few swipes on linen and latigo it mellows out... or it seems to.

The Prima Klang is a beauty and I want one. :)
