I saw a sandalwood hydrosol at Mountain Rose Herbs, and was curious if anyone had tried it. I almost bought it out of sheer curiosity, but thought I might check here first.

I says it is distilled from the bark of the sandal tree, but I was under the impression the oil was mainly harvested from the older heartwood. Almost sounds like they may be trying to use 'every part of the cow,' if you know what I mean, but it could be a great product. I just don't know. Does anyone know anything about this product? Scent? Effect on skin? Thanks.
