    Great forum !
I started out shaving with a double edge razor in my teens,I'm 59 now.A about a week or so ago I found my old Gillette ajustable [black handle]in the medicine cabinet, and asked the wife to see if she could pick up razor blades. She went to a few stores, got some strange looks, bingo! I'm a member of B&B.
I've been shaving with trach 2 and then to the track 3 since giving up the DE in the early 70's.Last Monday I ordered a Merkur 38c and derby blades from Shaving essentials.Spoke to John on the phone, nice guy and great service,I got the razor and blades Thursday.I've always shaved daily and hated it,now I can't wait for the next morning.I love my new 38c,beautiful razor, the weight and handle are very comfortable to me.I'm looking forward to learning and improving my shaving skills.
    Thank You
    Bobby

    Bobby,

    Welcome to Badger & Blade!!!

It's always cool to hear of members in their 50's and 60's coming back to wet-shaving.

Bobby, welcome to B&B. I too use a 38C and in the short time I've had it, it has delivered the goods quite well. I'm rotating through blades now, but the overall impression is very positive. Glad you're here.
