    Default Kiss my face?

Ok i have been wet shaving for years now, with both straights and D/E's. I have used just about every cream and soap available, now the biggest problem i have is with kiss my face shaving cream. Know matter what i do i can't seem to lather this stuff correctly. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated since this stuff is so cheap and widely available.

I find that I have to use more cream than usual with KMF, as it is less concentrated than other creams. Also, it seems to love water. It may take some time to get the balance right, as with such a thin cream, it can be easy to overshoot with the water, and end up with foamy soup. Just keep trying. You will know when you get it right, because it will pretty much explode into lather.

I also find that I need more cream with KMF then with other creams. Mine have a pump dispenser and I thought that one pump was to much cream. I tried half a pump and it wasn't enough.

KMF lathers, though I usually used as the cream part in a SuperLather.

i agree you have to use a little more KMF than some other creams. i usually use 1 full pump to get a 3 pass shave. for the price of it..use all you need and it still wont break your wallet.

I not sure if I can make a reasonable observation. I love KMF but I only buy the unscented and use it to make superlather, for which it is wonderful. It's not one of my favorite creams as a stand alone product.

I use the tube of KMF unscented. I squeeze out about a quarter sized amount and always have great lather. Echoing some of the other observations; the brush should be wetter than when you use shave soap.

I use 2 pumps of the mint and could get away with one. I easily do a 4 pass shave by face lathering with an Omega boar brush.

i use one pump, make sure there's no water left in the bottom of the bowl, and just the amount of water left in my brush after a shake. hope this helps! This is with the KMF mint, and I haven't tried the other formulas, so I don't know if they would have different results or not...

I use the KMF mint. It is my favorite. I use 1 1/2 to 2 pumps.

I would start out with 1 pump and use very little water (adding as needed).

+1 Besides KMF isn't the most expensive product anyway.

Almost everybody is talking about KMF in a pump. Doesn't anybody use the tubes? I've used KMF from a tube and found that a dime sized snurdle is plenty. Perhaps in pump form the formulation is slightly different so that it can be pumped, resulting in the need to use more product.

I'll have to pick up a pump of KMF and check it out.
